Parking is available at the venue. Please follow the directions of the event/parking volunteers.
Travel & Accommodation
The Alumni Association currently does not have the resources to arrange lodging for visiting alumni.
- All alumni should independently arrange their travel to and from Kanpur.
- Accommodation should be booked directly by the alumnus/alumna according to their requirements.
- Local commute/transportation is also to be arranged and paid for individually.
- Parking is available at the venue.
Meals & Hospitality
The Alumni Association will arrange the following meals during the event:
- Lunch
- High Tea
- Dinner on the first day only (28 November)
Registered family members who have paid the applicable family-member fee are also covered for the arranged meals.
Registration & Arrival at the Venue
- Important Note: Additional registration discounted price is applicable only for the accompanying spouse or Non-Harcourtian guest.
- Complete your event registration before attending the meet.
- On arrival, please report to the registration desk in the morning session.
- Carry the registration confirmation email and a valid photo ID.
- Show the registration email at the desk and collect your event badge.
- A help desk will be available during the morning registration session to assist with registration-related queries.
Lifetime Membership does not automatically register you for this event or for any other event.
Likewise, registering for this event does not automatically confer Lifetime Membership.
Family Members
Alumni are welcome to bring their spouse/family members.
- Applicable family-member fees must be paid during registration.
- Since family members are registered participants, their arranged meals are also covered.
- Please ensure all accompanying family members are included in the registration so that catering arrangements can be planned accurately.
On-the-Spot Registration
- On-the-spot registration will be available at the same fee as advance registration.
- However, advance registration is strongly recommended to help the Association plan meals, badges and other event requirements.
- For the Silver Jubilee and Golden Jubilee batches, mementos are being arranged based on advance registrations.
- On-the-spot registrants cannot be guaranteed a Jubilee memento, as these are being procured through advance bulk/custom orders.
- The Association will make every possible effort to accommodate late requirements, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Golden & Silver Jubilee Mementos
Special mementos are being arranged for the Golden Jubilee (Batch of 1976) and
Silver Jubilee (Batch of 2001) celebrations.
Because these are being planned through advance bulk/custom orders, alumni belonging to these batches are encouraged to register at least one week in advance.
Dress Code
There is no specific dress code. Comfortable formal attire is recommended for the meet and its celebratory sessions.
Communication & Help
The Alumni Association will share the official WhatsApp communication channel/details separately at a later stage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is travel to Kanpur arranged by the Alumni Association?
No. All travel and commute arrangements are self-arranged and self-funded by the visiting alumnus/alumna.
Will the Association arrange my hotel/accommodation?
No. The Association does not currently have the resources to arrange lodging. Alumni should book their accommodation independently.
Are meals included in the event?
Yes. Lunch and high tea are arranged on both event days, and dinner is arranged on the first day. Registered and paid family members are also covered.
What should I bring when I arrive?
Please carry your registration confirmation email and a valid photo ID. These will be required at the registration desk to collect your badge.
Can I register on the spot?
Yes. The on-the-spot registration fee is the same as the regular event registration fee. Advance registration is nevertheless recommended, especially for Jubilee batches.
Is event registration the same as Lifetime Membership registration?
No. They are completely separate. Lifetime Membership does not automatically register you for this event or any future event, and event registration does not automatically provide Lifetime Membership.
Can I bring my spouse or family members?
Yes. Family members can attend subject to payment of the applicable family-member fee. Their arranged meals are covered once they are registered and paid for.
Will Golden Jubilee and Silver Jubilee alumni receive a memento?
Mementos are being arranged for the Batch of 1976 and Batch of 2001 based on advance registrations. On-the-spot registration cannot guarantee a memento because the items are being ordered in advance through bulk/custom procurement.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is available at the venue. Please follow on-site instructions.
Is there a specific dress code?
No. There is no specific dress code. Formal attire is recommended.
